What is meningitis?

Dengue fever is a tropical infectious disease caused by Dengue virus that is transmitted by the bites of infected mosquitoes of the genus Aedes. It causes even high and persistent fever, muscle and joint pain, nausea and vomiting, and skin irritation. In severe cases, severe bleeding and multi-organ failure.

The importance of prevention

Today, 40 percent of the world's population lives in areas at risk of dengue transmission; in fact, the disease is endemic in more than 100 countries. In recent years, there has been an increase in its spread in many tropical countries but cases have also occurred in the Western world. The severe form of dengue leads to a real risk of death if not managed properly.
